Heat was almost as easy to get lost in as a good project. In the forges, both were abundant. There, the differences between ‘Annatar’ and ‘Mairon’ seemed irrelevant; there were no allegiances, no betrayals, no secrets… only searing heat and the metals it shaped. The perfect escape.
Annatar has been making great progress in his plans to integrate into Ost-in-Edhil and seduce it’s lord. With a little bit of patience, he will have them all lining up, eager to design the instruments of their own destruction. Everything is going perfectly, until one, tiny obstacle emerges: the tender lies he carefully crafts for Celebrimbor are becoming worryingly honest.
