Summary
Draxum hadn't accounted for the fact that when he gave four hatchling turtles the DNA of a human being in order to give them greater intelligence, he would effectively be making himself a surrogate father to actual children, with wildly different needs.
When he sent his gargoyles to obtain a sample of DNA from Big Mama's prized warrior, the intention was to create his own. They were to be the prototypes for an army of simple creatures with just enough heightened intelligence to learn combat and follow commands, that he might defend Yokai kind with.
Instead, he quickly discovered the integration of human DNA had been a little over successful in allowing his test subjects to learn and think and feel in a civilized manner, going so far as to override some of their natural instincts as turtles that would otherwise allow them to learn to care for themselves. He had to feed them, by hand, with bottles.
Like infants.

“Please don’t cry, my son,” Splinter pleaded, utter guilt shining in the rat’s eyes.
Raph swallowed thickly and squeezed his eyes shut.
“It is too much for me to ask of you. I know this, but I must ask it anyway,” Splinter continued, and Raph nodded. He swallowed again, like it might take with it the sting in his eyes and the feeling of hurt behind them.
“I know, Pops,” Raph said, and he tried to sound sincere. Between Raph and his brothers, Raph would pick himself every time. That was Raph’s job; protect his brothers.
“I will not let them hurt you,” Splinter assured, patting Raph’s cheek with a gentleness he didn’t show very often, and Raph’s heart only sank further. “I will not.”Raph took a breath and nodded once more. Dad wouldn’t lie.

Legend joins Four on what's supposed to be a quick patrol around their most recent camp setup, after the group's been dropped into the Realm of the Picori.
Fascinated by his new surroundings, Legend falls into a leisurely conversation with the younger, and the two learn a little bit about each other's adventures. It's peaceful, almost, and something about their new surroundings brings out a little bit of Legend's inner child.
Just before the natural camaraderie between them can settle a sense of ease on their shoulders, something rustles in the foliage...

Summary
Donnie's made a discovery.
One night, he found a mermaid out on the docks named April.
They hit it off pretty immediately and become good friends. After no time at all, they're meeting practically every night, and Donnie's brother's don't even know!
On one of these nights, April and Donnie go for a swim, and Donnie's battle shell puts them in brief peril- one which has April deciding enough is enough. What's up with the battle shell? And why won't he take it off, even though it clearly slows him down?

TLDR; cute fluffy au where April is a mermaid. Donnie wears his battle shell out of self-consciousness, and April comforts him after he gets stuck underwater because of it.

Summary
Lillian has hit her head. On a tree. How? A zipline.
Dr. Ayame seems too busy (and too aware of an unspoken crush) to take care of Lillian herself and so passes the girl on to Hiro's care. And Hiro, of course, is flabbergasted by Lillian's predicament, however very worried. He's quick to take care of her, but Lillian can't help bantering with him, just a little, along the way.
TLDR; Hiro helps treat a scrape on Lillian's forehead. A short, shippy, fluffy fic for the fun of it.
