The first time Grimmjow runs into the orange-haired motherfucker that turns into the bane of his existence, he’s too preoccupied with not dying to notice most of the details. Later, once he’s put a healthy distance between himself and those specific sand dunes, he’ll recall impressions of bright hair and black estigma and a hole in the center of the fucking vasto lorde’s chest.
The whole affair only gets more confusing afterward, when the damn thing keeps trying to feed him.

Summary
Twenty years ago, the Warlord of the North came down out of the mountains and slew the king of Kaedwen, taking crown and kingdom for his own.
