Bradley was familiar with Penny. After all, he’d been there for at least three bouts of the ‘on’ part of ‘on and off’. He’d been jealous of her before. But there was something about knowing Mav was off fucking her while he was at home, thinking about it, that sank in differently. As a child, his jealousy had been to scale. As a teenager, it had been petty. But as an adult? Jealousy was a bone-deep source of rage. It was deep, dark, and angry.
Leave it to Mav to stir that back up inside him.
So he started plotting. And Mav fell right into his hands.

“ Slider tumbled aside, still twitching as he fell on his back, sprawled on the mattress, all lax and languid.
Mav leaned over to kiss him, slick still on his lips, and Slider moaned at the taste of himself. “Hi,” Mav whispered against his lips, grinning.
“Hi, babygirl,” Slider panted, grasping at Mav’s shoulders and pulling at his jacket. He hadn’t had time to shed a single layer before Slider mounted him.
