Summary
Zuko and Azula don't know anything other than the fast-paced, competitive world of film & television acting. The 'Phoenix Family,' as the paparazzi have dubbed Ozai's family unit, are happy faces on magazine covers to the public. In private, they're a mess of dysfunction.
While co-starring in a corny slasher, the siblings meet a first-time actor, Aang, who seems to have tried every profession under the sun before acting. Aang's friends are different. They don't judge based on net-worth.
As Zuko and Jet's romantic relationship unravels, Zuko finds himself spending more and more time with Aang's cute roommate, an architect named Sokka.
Azula's never taken her personal desires into consideration - not when it came to her career which was chosen for her before she was born, not when it came to relationships. Chan is the public's dreamboat, so he must be a dreamboat. End of story. So when Aang's friend, Katara, questions if Azula even likes Chan, Azula is furious. Katara is nosy & obnoxious & that must be why Azula can't stop thinking about her - right?
The siblings learn about a world outside of acting and begin to question the values instilled in them by their father.

Summary
He was caught on one word that Sokka had said. Engaged. His mind latched onto that, and conjured up images of rings and a wedding. Marriage.
Sokka kept talking, but Zuko couldn’t hear him over the blood roaring in his ears. If he had been engaged to marry an American citizen, he wouldn’t have to go back to Japan and wait to refile for another work visa. He could stay here, and never have to see his father again.
Zuko’s gaze roamed over Sokka. He wasn’t married, or seeing anyone, Zuko knew that. Sokka always complained about being single, and the one time he had gone on a date in their past several years of working together, Sokka hadn’t shut up about it for a week. Zuko would know if Sokka was currently seeing anyone, and he wasn’t.
There it was. His way out.
aka Zuko and Sokka decide to get fake married so Zuko doesn't get deported, but they have to go through a weekend in Sokka's hometown pretending to be a couple for his family before they can do it

Chief Hakoda of the Southern Water Tribe,
It is my greatest honor to offer you marriage to a Fire Nation noble in exchange for peace between our lands and the land of your sister tribe to the North. We would offer the same alliance by marriage to the Northern Tribe but it is my understanding that their chief is mated and their only daughter was disposed of.
With the Avatar gone, our liberation of the Earth Kingdom is nigh. Soon the land will be as glorious and developed as the Fire Nation. We are happy to share our wealth with the world, though underdeveloped villages, such as those of the Water Tribes, are not on our radar. Rather than liberation through conquest, we offer you riches and trade in this alliance as well as a promise to no longer attack your villages and in exchange you do not interfere with our conquests.
We have already sent several Fire Navy ships towards the Southern Water Tribe. One carries your betrothed and their guards and servants. The other three carry Fire Nation troops. This is just to keep things honest, I assure you, no attack will happen as long as you are there to accept your bride.
