The battles against Z'Maja had been harsh on the entire Order of the Welkynars. Still, eventually Lavassir broke after being forced on bed rest for too long and returned home from what he had started to feel was a gilded cage hidden in pleasant terms, intending for some peace and to let him spread his wings. Even in a place he knew so well, his mind refused to let him find peace as he recalled those days far too well, for he had led the charge against Z'maja and her shades.
She had left more scars than he wanted to reveal.
