The amount of hair surrounding the body could be described as insane as it was longer than the length of the body. When Mu-Shidi turned it around, the hair covering its face had moved to reveal the familiar view of the Qing Jing Peak Lord that had died in front of Liu Qingge’s eyes. “Shen Qingqiu…?” He reached out to move more of the soiled hair away and then held Shen Qingqiu’s face in his palms. The skin was warm with life.

I found what I thought was a fine piece of wood and started to whittle away at it. Patroclus was better at this than I. I had meant for it to be a statue of him holding a bowl of figs instead it barely looked human. Chiron had laughed when I first showed it to him. My cheeks turned red and I threw the wood at him. The inhumane statue bounced harmlessly off his chest which drew an even deeper laugh from him.
It was the first time I had heard him laugh from his chest, “I believe Patroclus would still like it, but if you wish for me to show you I will.”
It took us a couple of months to whittle it into a shape that resembled him. It wasn’t nearly as lavish as I wished it to be, but it was enough to bring a grin to my face. It was enough to bring a grin on Patroclus' face as well.
“They can be together,” Patroclus said as he stood back to stare at the two statues.
“I hope they stay like that,” I added, “I hope they stay together.” I turned to look at him and neither of us had to say that we hoped the same for us.

And Aether, with a crowd of other unfamiliar men around him, had accepted his help with a smile.
Aether struggles to make his way through Inazuma with a large crowd of wannabe lovers causing trouble amongst each other for his hand. To him, Thoma is the only normal companion he has.Gee whiz, it's been a long time since this work was started. The tags suggest Thomaether is the endgame, but I've instead decided that after I wrap up the plotline for the first part everyone will go to Sumeru and so on. Sumeru onwards it'll be like Thomaether never happened :3
