The smile that cuts across Kamiya’s face sends her back to the Newcomer’s Performance. Sou’d described him as someone with unique features, but it's only now that Kisa understands exactly what he meant by that. His lips curl up into something that's just as sinister as it is coy, something that could be—and probably has been—easily misconstrued if not for the easy way his gaze sinks into his face beneath half-lidded eyes, conveying some degree of playfulness, though Kisa does have to wonder what exactly is funny to him about all this.
They sit in silence, but it's something different from their staredown at the store. This is quieter. More of a rumble of thunder from far away. Not a warning, but a watch.
“Hey, Tachibana.”
“Y-yes?”
“You’re not actually a boy, are you?”

Summary
After an accident at work, Kaveh sort of dies. But he is granted a chance to come back to life if he can get three people to shed tears of pure love for him. He thinks that would be easy, since he has so many friends, but soon realises that it's not as easy as he thought it would be.
Meanwhile, a grieving Alhaitham is very confused by this new stranger in Sumeru City who acts so much like Kaveh, but is not Kaveh.
“Well, I promise you, Kaveh will be very okay with it. I’m sure of it.”
“If I’m not convinced, will you be suddenly bringing me a letter allegedly written by Kaveh that expresses his agreement?” Alhaitham asked with a raised eyebrow.
“That letter was written by Kaveh. One hundred percent. I don’t know why you keep doubting me,” Kaveh insisted.

Dimitri felt icy hands grabbing at him from all angles, digging their nails into his skin. The faces and voices of the dead surrounded him, taunting him.
"Pathetic" His father sneered, blood covering the left side of his face, where his skull was smashed in.
"You were too weak to save us" Glenn glared at him, blood seeping from the stab wounds littering his stomach.
"Kill the wicked girl, crush her treacherous throat!" His stepmother commanded, skin covered in burns.
"AVENGE US" they all screamed, their faces twisting and contorting in agony.
Dimitri moaned, unable to bear the torment of the dead any longer. He felt a warm hand touching his shoulder, joining the icy hands gripping him. Dimitri jumped at the sudden touch and violently jerked his arm backwards with a roar, shaking off the hands of the dead as he felt something solid connect with the back of his fist.
