Akane sipped her tea, set it down, and gave him a level look. “Are you a virgin?”
The hot tea Ranma had just taken a sip out of came back up, half of it up his nose, the rest choking his throat. Needless to say, his face was also turning red.

Ranma and Akane survived a fairly successful first date far from home. After the chaos (of course there was chaos) and being stranded without a way back home, they found themselves stuck sharing a bed in a Love Hotel. Now, after some banter, misunderstandings, and a lot of talking, these slow starters are making up for lost time.
This a companion piece to "Last Train", but can be read independently.

Summary
Sometimes life is breathtaking. Othertimes it's more breath stealing. Yes, it's an early S4 how stuff happened/missing scenes all around the theme of being breathless. Also, the last three 'fics I published didn't really give either of them a scene together.
Chaptered out by episode. Hurt comfort because B'Elanna keeps nearly suffocating in those three episodes.

“What happened 27 days ago?” Akane asks.
“You turned me down.” Ranma answers, his voice even. When she looks up, his face is expressionless.
“Why?” she asks quietly.
“I don’t know.” He takes a deep breath. Swallows. “But I think maybe.” A pause. He tries again. “I think maybe it’s because I didn’t tell you the truth.”
She looks at him. His eyes look like two grey stones; his mouth is pressed into a thin line. “What is the truth?” she asks.
“I miss you.” He says.
