Summary
Under the aegis of the Order of St. George, the House of Wayne has silently protected the children of Gotham from the monsters that stalk them for nearly two decades. Its members live dangerous, lonely lives, guardians of a secret that the Order will kill to keep safe.
When Dick Grayson's estranged brother Jason Todd resurfaces in small town Kansas, on the trail of one of the most dangerous types of monsters the Order hunts and kills, House Dragon Bruce Wayne sends Dick to assist—and, just maybe, to bring Jason back into the fold.
Some wounds, though, run too deep, and some promises lie too broken, and Dick knows all too well the welcome that he'll receive if he goes—but when it comes to Jason, he'll do whatever it takes.

Summary
“Don’t move,” Jason whispers. “If we don’t move he won’t see us.”
“That’s for a T-rex and it’s a lie. They could very well kill you even then.”
“You are shitting on my hopes and dreams, Replacement.”
“I’m not. I’m just saying —”
“Todd,” Damian calls and when he gets no answer from Jason, he whimpers, “Drake.”
“I can't believe I'm saying this but he’s breaking my heart, dude."
“Shut up, don’t give in. It’s a trap.” Jason says. “It’s a trap —”
They lose both the battle and the war when Damian stops waiting for them and instead stumbles forward, almost drunkenly, and unceremoniously flops himself on Jason’s front, full-on crying against his chest.
“Jesus fuck, Baby-bat. Who do I have to kill?”
(Or the one where Jason and Tim come to the Manor on the early hours of the day after a long night of patrol and they find weird new kind of life form out of this world that cries with snot and all inside the Manor. It takes them some time, because they are both dumbasses, to convince themselves that's actually their little brother crying his eyes out.)

Summary
Ghost isn’t so far gone to put his face on the toilet seat, but at this point, he can admit he’s cuttin’ it fuckin’ close.
He spits out another mouthful of bile-yellow gunk, his ragged breaths filling the crawl space the military calls a bathroom, and collapses bodily against the wall. He slings his arms over his knees, still stinging from the harsh landing on the floor, and lets his mouth hang loose; breath smelling rank even to himself. He sighs and digs his head back into the cold tiles.
It’s getting worse.

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

Summary
Red Hood is a criminal, so it doesn't make sense why he would bother dragging Nightwing back to Dick Grayson's apartment and bandaging his potentially deadly gunshot wounds. What makes even less sense is why Hood keeps coming back.
(a.k.a. another "Dick redeems Red Hood with the power of affection" fic but with even less mental stability.)
