Olivia is already carrying too much, a demanding job, a scared child, a fear she doesn’t know how to quiet. Adding love to that feels like taking something Noah can’t afford to lose.
So Amanda stays silent. Until one tired, careless moment lets the truth slip, and Olivia hears it.
