And as his rotten luck would have it, it was Izuku’s turn next.
The memory opened on his face, still scrawny and a bit afraid from his middle school days, and Kacchan’s nails dug into his hand so hard he thought he drew blood. The setting was different than he expected, though. Instead of the close walls of his classroom in Aldera, it was an airy, open rooftop. Past-Izuku was clutching a notebook to his chest and looking with wide and watery eyes at something behind them and, as a group, they turned to look and see the skeletal form of the former Number One Hero.
“Didn’t you say you have something to ask me?”
1A gets hit with a 'worst memory' quirk. Izuku fears it’s going to show them all a memory of Kacchan.

Summary
In the aftermath of the Shie Hassaikai raid, Izuku tries to give Mirio One For All. Even though Mirio refuses, Izuku cannot rid himself of the guilt and anxiety eating away at his mind and heart, wondering endlessly if he really deserves to be the ninth successor of One For All.
The vestiges do not put up with this bullshit. Seeing that Ninth is in need of a much-deserved and very overdue appreciation conga, they decide to bend (read: break) reality by hijacking the dreams of Izuku’s classmates and teachers to show them what would happen if Izuku either never received One For All, or never existed in the first place.
Dark crack ensues, and our favourite broccoli boi gets the love he deserves.
