Summary
After he is scheduled to return home, Akira Kurusu finds out the news that his parents have decided to disown him and Sojiro will be adopting him instead and taking him into his family. In his distress of losing his parents as well as dealing with the guilt of Goro Akechi's death, he ends up creating a distorted palace out of his own guilty mindset.
The rest of the Phantom Thieves have to find a way to rescue Akira from his despair as he struggles greatly to accept the cruel reality of his new life, yet could it be possible that the very same Goro Akechi that he failed to save could still be somehow alive and possibly willing to help Akira as well as let him into his troubled life?

Summary
One year after he returned home, the Phantom Thieves are finally reunited with their leader and friend, Akira Kurusu. However, something is different about him. At first, the group is concerned when Akira begins suffering from seizures and even blackouts, but that isn’t all. Something is different about Akira; it’s clear he isn’t the same person who led them through the Metaverse and was at their side in their times of need, two years prior.
Between seizures and isolation, something is wrong Akira. It will be up to his friends and his family, including a famous idol, to pull him from the depths of his personal hell before he is lost to them forever.
