Summary
All Zoey really knew was that she didn’t want to be an omega. Omegas were, at their core, meant to be desirable. Meant to be wanted. And Zoey certainly had her fair share of evidence that was never going to be the case for her. So there was no shot that the universe would set her up to be the butt of such a cruel joke, right?
Right. About that.

Or, Zoey-centric character study starting pre-debut and traveling through the years. Set in-universe and vaguely canon compliant but with an ABO twist. Eventual polytrix. But we got a lot of shit to work through emotionally to get there. Rating subject to change.Bookmarked by M98widow

Prequel to How to Finish On the Job
Mira and Rumi meet by chance as kids at one of Mira's family galas. They fit together like perfect puzzle pieces, but even perfect puzzle pieces get worn edges sometimes.
This story follows how they grew up together, grew close together, grew apart from each other, and grew a relationship fraught with all the things left unsaid between them, yet somehow found a family in each other regardless.
What happens when you love each other for all the right reasons in all the wrong ways?

Summary
Returning her eyes to the road, Rumi swallowed and asked, "I… I thought you were on suppressants?"
Mira grumbled, "Do you really think I'd spend forty-eight hours in close proximity to you anywhere near my usual heat if I wasn't?"
Pink flashed across Rumi's face, "Okay??"
She could survive another 9 hours in a car with Mira on the edge of heat, right? Rumi could control herself. Mira needed that. Nine hours to home. They could make it.
Or, Mira unexpectedly goes into heat in the middle of a road trip.

Summary
So, here's the thing. Mira has sworn off abs ever since the whole Saja Boys incident. She can’t help but roll her eyes and scoff every time someone shows off their physique. It's a newly developed knee-jerk reaction of hers now thanks to a certain pompous demon boy.
Abs, what even were abs? What made them so great? Abs were just so - bleugh! She was gonna throw up.
So yeah, Mira was pretty sure she was over the whole abs thing.
Except, sometime during their hiatus, Zoey has developed a set of popcorn popping abs and now she's all Mira can think about.
It's just a simple admiration for the human body right?
