Summary
Taehyung, a recently divorced man, is having a midlife crisis. Far away were the years when he was young and free of exploring his sexuality. Now, in his forties, with a teenage girl and being a closeted gay man, he feels that his life has finished already. However, after speaking with his best friend, he decides to give life a second chance, starting with enrolling in the gym.
That his commitment to his new habit is because he has a crush on the charming gym trainer Jungkook is something that nobody needs to know.
“Let’s do something, sir. Come tomorrow at 6pm and try my spinning class! I can assure you will have so much fun!” Jungkook said, his eyes sparkling.
Taehyung highly doubted he was going to enjoy that class at all. In fact, he thought he was unable to enjoy any physical activity, at any place, not at that gym or any other, could offer him an enjoyable experience. But instead of thanking Jungkook for his help and turning around again to run away from there, he discovered himself nodding, the words escaping from his mouth unconsciously.

Jeongguk is fairly sure he’ll make whatever promise Taehyung wants him to make.

“Now you’re playing with fire,” the man says, a hint of something serious to his words. “Promise me you won’t start minding your manners now.”
“I can assure you that I won’t.”
“Good,” Taehyung mumbles, then he unhooks the strap, letting it fall to the side before he undoes the other side, freeing his face from the constraints of his surgical mask.
When it finally does register, Jeongguk feels his mouth fall open. Jeongguk doesn’t like breaking promises, but he’s about to do just that.
