Summary
Viktor's eyes slid to the side, the rest of his head slowly following. He jumped in shock as he came face to face with a pair of large hazel eyes that were right next to him.Those hazel eyes belonged to a boy, about his age. He had a youthful, round face with a tanned complexion and messy dark hair, and he was kneeling next to Viktor on all fours, leaning in curiously over his shoulder to see what he was doing.
Upon realizing that he had been caught, the boy sat back on his haunches and smiled widely, unapologetically. Viktor noted the gap between his top front teeth and the way his button nose crinkled. He sat there, staring at the boy for a moment before awkwardly averting his eyes down towards his feet, unsure of what to say or do and suddenly--strongly--preferring to be anywhere else.
The boy cocked his head and smiled again.

Summary
Dew scowls, “What are you doing here?”
Alpha grins wider, all fangs and sharp teeth, “Hey now, is that any way to greet an old friend?”
Dew narrows his eyes, chuffing in Alpha’s direction before pulling the covers back over his head.
“Go away,” Dew growls, muffled by the bedding piled on top of him.
“Well that doesn’t sound like the sweet Dewey we all know and love. What happened to those cute little water ghoul manners, Droplet?”
Dew’s eyes snap open. The pit in his stomach flares again and he rips the covers back, glaring at Alpha, “Are you just here to be an asshole? Cuz if you are, then just GO. Leave me alone. Please,” He spits out the last word like it’s acid in his mouth, “And don’t call me Droplet,” his voice breaks.
Alpha watches the scene unfold in front of him quietly. He runs his hand through his shaggy hair and sighs guiltily. He was just trying to tease, but he’d clearly pushed a bit too much. Mountain wasn’t kidding, this was worse than he’d expected.
Dew feels lost and alone following his transition to fire. He finds help and comfort in the one fire ghoul he'd least expect.

Summary
Rain reaches back to grasp Dew’s slender wrists, one in each hand, pulling them back from around his neck. He holds Dew’s hands captive between them, eyes glinting as he looks down at the fire ghoul through the dark curls framing his face.
“Dewdrop.”
Dew’s stomach swoops at his tone.
“Rainy,” Dew murmurs.
“Don’t Rainy me, Dew,” Rain says quietly. He bends his head down and plants soft kisses around Dew’s face.
“We can't…kiss… do this here. Smooch…someone…kiss..can come in…lick…and see us.”
“Rain–” Dew whines softly. He squirms and gasps quietly when Rain grips his wrists a little more tightly.
“Later, love,” Rain whispers in Dew’s ear, giving him a kitten lick around the shell before planting one last kiss on the tip of his nose, “Behave for me, hmm?”
Dew melts, nodding dumbly back at him. That irresistible siren nature always gets him. He’d do whatever Rain asks just for the privilege of receiving his praise.
“That’s my good boy.”
AKA equal parts slice of life, equal parts "Dew keeps trying to jump Rain's bones in public places even though he has social anxiety"

Summary
Swiss wakes with a groan and peeks his eyes open. His room is dark, it's cold. He forgot to close his window last night, and there's a frigid breeze blowing through the curtains. Swiss shuts his eyes tightly and burrows under the blankets. His mind feels like it's slogging through knee-deep molasses, delayed and sluggish. His head feels like someone stuffed it full of cotton balls, the droning buzz of bees echoing in his ears, even though the room is dead silent.
His face is on fire. The left side of his jaw is alive and angry, like someone is sliding white-hot needles under his skin, deep into the bone. The stinging ache radiates from his jaw up his face, behind his ear and his eye. He sits up slowly, attempting to massage the tissue, wincing at the inflammation his fingers encounter in his effort at soothing the hurt.
It's been a year....a year since Swiss had suffered a flare this bad. He was so sure that things were finally nearing normal.
"Oh look...I'm back."

Summary
It was completely an accident. The kind of freak incident that would be hard pressed to be avoided.
It happened too fast for anyone to react. Just one slightly weaker link, fatigued by the strain of the fixture that hadn't been lowered since it was originally wired during Primo's papal reign. Thank Lucifer it was only 5 or 6 feet from the ground when the link gave out and the chain broke.
The chandelier came crashing to the ground. Swiss reacted quickly, knocking one of the siblings out of the way to avoid being crushed by the elaborate mass of iron and steel. In his attempt to shield the brother from danger, Swiss missed avoiding the chain whipping out from the wall, smashing him in the face and throwing him violently into the ground. Swiss hit the ground with a dull thud, his head cracking sickeningly off the stone floor and bouncing before coming to rest limply on the floor.

“So?” He asks.
Viktor tilts his head, acting cute. “So… what?”
Jayce looks down at Viktor’s lips again, dying to dive in for more but holding himself back. “So, what is this?” He says, his voice low. He reaches a hand forward, pressing his thumb into Viktor’s hipbone.
Viktor hums, thinking to himself for a moment before crowding into Jayce’s space again and kissing him hard.
Pulling back with a dazed look, Viktor's hands slide down the front of his chest until the warmth of his palms rest against Jayce's stomach.
“Lets just call it a fun summer break?”
Hired by his mother's friend to clean her pool during summer break, Jayce meets Viktor and the two get on like a match to fireworks. Throughout their fun, casual relationship, Jayce yearns to learn more about the whimsical boy who takes his breath away.

“She, uh,” Viktor tries, “She said that she’s been having some trouble with noisy neighbours for the last few weeks.”
Jayce’s brow lifts. “Oh? I haven’t heard anything.”
“Well, that’s the problem, baby,” he says after a moment, giving Jayce a pointed look. “Because I believe she is referring to us. We can, uh, be quite loud, no?”
It takes him longer than he would like to admit to realise what Viktor isn’t saying. There is a marked silence between the two of them where he swears the other man can hear the cogs turning and shifting in Jayce’s head. “Oh.” And when the cogs eventually snap together, and he realises Viktor’s meaning, Jayce gapes. “OH."
