Summary
Sequel to Darkness Within
Entering his fourth year of instructing at Hogwarts, Harry finds himself satisfied and genuinely happy. However, everything takes a sharp turn when Minister Slytherin's ambitions to extend beyond the UK include reinstating the Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts, truly testing the fragile stability he and his heir have achieved. "Harry, mate, I'm so sorry," Seamus Finnegan clapped him on the shoulder. "This must be so hard for you."
Harry blinked. "..What?" It was just Potions, it wasn't that bad. Slughorn was loads better than Snape had been, after all.
"Your dad, mate!" Seamus insisted, holding up an evening edition of the Prophet. "Everyone knows now, you don't have to hide it anymore-"
"My dad's dead," said Harry flatly. "Voldemort killed him. Everyone knows that-"
