Summary
With Doctor Victor Gideon now in tow and on their side, Leon and Sherry move forward with their mission to discover the truth of their t-virus infection, the mysterious Elpis, and the whereabouts of the undocumented foe, Zeno. Will the addition of Victor turn out to be as much of a benefit as Leon had hoped, or would having a previous enemy on their team come back to bite them?
Meanwhile, Grace and Zeno must travel forward on their own, with no Victor Gideon to offer support to Zeno and the Connection's cause. Who will step up to the plate to fight for and against Elpis?
(Aka canon rewrite of RE 9 and the continuation of my previous Gileon fic. Leon and Victor work together to find Elpis while dealing with their feelings for each other)

Dennis isn't too happy about the circumstances under which he's been invited to his... mentor's? maybe. Friend's? He hopes maybe someday... Senior attending's (the safest option) home. However despite the less than comfortable reality of the situation, he wasn't going to say no. Dr. Robby was clearly going through something intense that he wasn't ready to share with anyone yet, and Dennis wasn't going to be one of the ones to stack onto his attending's already leaning tower of emotional instability. He had seen how the others around the Dr. had been affecting him; people who were supposed to be there to support him through struggles. Dennis wanted to be a stable landing for Robby if he needed it. He just didn't realize how much he already was.

“It wasn't more than a couple of minutes before Gideon's breath was evening out and his grip loosened at Leon's sore wrists and dropped to his slowly stilling sides.
He nodded almost imperceptibly; no words of confirmation, but the gesture was enough. Leon gently pulled the visor away from Gideon's head, carefully settling a couple of strands of silvery hair that had been pulled along with the metal goggles back into place.
They were greasy, but shockingly soft between his fingertips. Leon could only imagine how soft they would be once they were washed, conditioned, and brushed properly through his fingers.”
