Summary
The creature outside the classroom window is something between a wild cat and a hound, with matted black fur and a disturbing mass of muscle stretched over its bones. One leg is grotesquely injured, angling in a way which suggests it was broken by force. Hux feels a terrible twisting in his gut.
The beast bares its teeth and turns in Hux’s direction, and Hux is suddenly on his feet, mouth stumbling over an incomprehensible "What—" as the monster locks eyes with him.
A few students look up at him, waiting for him to say something, but he cannot seem to manage even a sentence. He turns away to face the window again. There is nothing there. He stares at the empty school grounds, and something drops in his stomach.

Summary
Kylo Ren has made his decision. He has killed his past and now knows who he wants to share his future with. Hux keeps telling himself to stop submitting to the psychopathic conflicted manchild. However, the sex is so good that he gives in, to Kylo, every time. Kylo is determined to prove to Hux that them joining together to rule the galaxy will be optimal for everyone, promising to cease with his temper tantrums and unprovoked use of the Force.
In a nutshell, two psychopaths gradually put aside their conflicted pasts and fall in love, to brutally bend the galaxy to their will.

Summary
After TLJ, Hux is left with a decidedly unpleasant set of options: submit to Kylo Ren and preserve his life and the hope that one day he will at least be able to share rule of the galaxy, or die. It is an easy enough choice for Hux, but as should have been expected, Kylo Ren is not one to whom sharing comes naturally.
Needless to say, it is a complete disaster from start to finish. Together they must come to terms with the fact that (like it or not) they need one another. Though...what kind of "need" exactly that is...well neither one of them can quite decide.

Summary
Ben Solo has been trying to find his place in the universe since he was eight years old. In between the Senate, the Temple and the Falcon, it's been easiest to just adopt his father's facade. While making a run for the Solo business, the young smuggler catches a snag when stealing First Order weapons, and takes a general hostage. The tension is palatable, and Ben finds himself intrigued by this man who has such extreme, complete convictions in his station when Ben himself never been able to find a foothold in the galaxy. Then the General offers him the chance to explore his power and Ben must make a choice; follow the General or fly the New Kessel Run.
(Or the AU where Ben doesn't go dark side as a teenager, becomes a smuggler, and Hux corrupts him instead.)
