The call startled him. He glanced back over his shoulder, looking towards where he woke up.
In a messy bundle of blankets, curtains, and cushions (their nest, Jayce’s subconscious supplied) was a disheveled fox man. Although Jayce didn’t recognize the figure, that accented voice was unmistakable.
“Viktor…?” He replied, equally as befuddled.
There was a pause. Then last night’s memories returned to the both of them all at once.
“We had sex.” Jayce gasped. At the exact same moment, Viktor shot up and shouted, “We are vastayas!”
