Sonic’s eyes darted around, looking for an escape route, desperate to keep his silent promise to Longclaw; but there was none. They lifted him effortlessly, carrying him towards a large, armored vehicle. The back doors swung open, revealing a sterile, metallic interior. Sonic’s mind raced with fear and uncertainty as they placed him inside and secured him with restraints.
The vehicle roared to life, its engine a deep, menacing growl. As they sped away, Sonic’s thoughts were a whirlwind of despair. Longclaw’s sacrifice, the loss of his home, and now, being captured by these unknown forces—his world had been turned upside down.
or: what if G.U.N. got an energy signal when Sonic first "landed" on Earth and was immediately brought to a G.U.N. facility, where he meets Shadow.

Sonic raised both of his hands to make a wish, closing his eyes. Okay, he looks ridiculous making a wish after seeing a fallen meteorite in front of him, but that’s alright, nobody was likely awake to witness it. He tried to convince himself to shake off the embarrassment he felt, and finally began to wish.
“I wish…”
He clenched his hands tightly as he spoke, then finally loosening the grip when he opened his eyes.
For some reason, he felt an odd sense of relief after making the wish.
Then, out of nowhere, the meteorite glows. That shouldn’t be normal… right?
As far as what Sonic heard, meteorites don't glow after the fall, so then… why the heck this one is shining so brightly that it’s gonna make him blind?
(Sonic made a wish and suddenly he found himself from 50 years ago)
