Wednesday y Enid regresan a casa para el verano, cada una con un nuevo semestre acercándose en el horizonte, uno lleno de exámenes, drama y el lento e implacable paso del tiempo.
Wednesday se encuentra atrapada en una guerra silenciosa entre lo que no sabe y lo que cree entender, cuestionando creencias que ha tenido por mucho tiempo sobre la vida… y sobre los sentimientos que han comenzado a surgir, no invitados y no deseados. Una cosa es segura: no dejará que las cosas se salgan de control, incluso si eso significa aferrarse con todo lo que tiene.
Mientras tanto, el mundo de Enid se desmorona a su alrededor. Cuanto más intenta evitar lo inevitable, más la rompe, amenazando con arrebatarle los últimos pedazos de felicidad a los que se aferra. ¿Podrá superarlo? ¿Encontrará una luz al final del túnel? Y lo más importante… ¿habrá alguien esperándola allí?
