    There’s a man sitting in the corner of the room, half cast in shadow. Peter’s vision was still mottled, but he can make out gray pants similar to his own. His roomie was wearing a white shirt, the sleeves twisted strangely, decorated with buttons and straps. It took several more blinks to realize that’s because it was a straitjacket.

    That is never a good sign.

    Peter jumped to his feet, almost threw up, and plastered himself to the wall, slowly easing down into a crouch. But the man only cocked his head to the side, hairless eyebrows quirking. When Peter inhaled, the stench of pain made his nose sting and his eyes water, overwhelming in its magnitude. The man’s eyes are hard and angry when they meet Peters’.

    “And who are you supposed to be? They actually giving me roommates again? Nice try, Francie!” this the man yelled at the door, “but I’m not buying it! Give im’ to someone else.”

    or... Avengers are tasked with bringing in Spider-Man to learn his identity and risk level. Peter on the other hand is trying to juggle school, friends, May, and Spider-Man all while constantly ditching the Avengers.

    Edit: Part one of series is not required to read. It is a one-shot of how Ben died in my version as context if you wanted to read it. If you don't want to read it, this story will still make sense.

    Peter Parker is homeless. After the death of his last remaining family member, his Aunt, he finds himself living on the streets. The only thing worth living for is his alter-ego, Spider-Man. As Spider-Man, Peter can be brave. He can stop bad things happening. He can be witty, funny, sarcastic. He can be okay. When he's Spider-Man, he doesn't have to think about how pathetic or useless his life is.

    Spider-Man is a vigilante, and the Avengers don't like that. Soon they decide to try and catch him to question him. What happens when they find the broken, malnourished fifteen year old underneath the mask?

    OR

    Peter is broken and severely depressed. He thinks life is no longer worth living. He needs a family. Soon enough, the Avengers become that for him.

    (including a SI field-trip, Peter getting kidnapped, Peter being homeless, all the good stuff into one fan fiction) ;)

    Peter Parker never wished for his life to turn out this way. Let’s be real, who would? With all of the trauma buried with pain and topped off with guilt larger than the oceans and responsibility no fifteen-year-old should bear, Peter is barely holding it together. Seeing as his life is already in shambles, fate decided to add one more problem into the mix. The Avengers. Balancing the responsibilities of caring for Aunt May, Spider-Man, school, jobs, and everything in between, Peter is bound to break. The only question is: What will he take with him?
