If Ryuji was Satan’s son-in-law, he’d be infinitely more safe going on all of these ridiculous missions he was forcing himself onto. And there was no way he was ever going to listen to Rin on this, he knew. But it felt wrong not to try, not to do everything Rin could to protect his friend. If something happened to Ryuji and Rin knew he might have been able to prevent it, but didn’t cause he was too embarrassed of his stupid little crush, then he’d never forgive himself.
There was only one thing Rin could do, really.

Slowly tracking the length of my nose, traversing the line of my cheekbone, following the curve of my jaw, and flowing over the bow of my lips.
Gliding ever so tenderly over the scar that cut across my nose.
My heart stuttered.
It's early, still.
The birdsong in the trees outside my windows, and the brightness behind my eyelids tell me so.
Everything was as it should be, but with one small exception...
I have no idea who is touching me.
I have no lover.

What to do & how to stay safe if an ANBU collapses at your door:
Rule #1: Announce that you are an ally, and press chakra against the red sealing tattoo on their arm to summon another ANBU to collect them.
Rule #2: Never remove an ANBU's mask or try to learn their identity.
Rule #3: Never remove an ANBU's armour or try to take their weapons from them.
Rule #4: Don't be alone with an ANBU longer than necessary.
Rule #5: Do not touch an ANBU under any circumstances, besides when you are summoning another to take them away.If any of these rules are broken, the ANBU will probably kill you.
Iruka knows this, and that it's dangerous; so why is he breaking all the rules anyway?
