Summary
Most people going about their day-to-day lives didn’t stop to think about the ways the infrastructure of their city posed a danger to them; but Hizashi wasn’t ‘most people.’
Over the years, he had learned as much as he could about the bones and arteries that held a city together; the strengths and weaknesses of the structures above and below ground that kept life flowing. Buildings, tunnels, roadways, and bridges each had their own unique risk factors, and Hizashi had made it a point to understand as much as he could about what conditions might lead to catastrophic failure.
Unfortunately, all that understanding did precisely jack shit when barely twenty meters ahead of him, right in the middle of the roadway, the earth opened up with a rumble and devoured his best friend.

Even the gods who tried to carve out their sacred spaces amongst humans could be forgotten and neglected, it seemed.Moving forward on silent feet, Shouta could hear muted sounds coming from deeper inside: something heavy sliding across the stone floor, and the muffled cries of a voice he’d recognize anywhere.

The carpet was green. A drab, dirty green. Maybe olive green, or moss green. Vomit green. It was ugly as fuck, but it was the only thing Hizashi could let himself think about as he felt the delicate touch of too many legs walking across—

Nooooope.
He squeezed his eyes shut; but with the blood rushing in his ears, that only left his brain with three senses to work with. The metallic tang of blood in his mouth and the acrid stench in the air were nowhere near enough to drown out what his skin was screaming about.
Better to open his eyes and stare at the ugly-ass puke-green carpet. The fraying fibers were bent and twisted, and he knew that years of dirt and dust were ground down into them, but it was still better to think about his cheek being pressed against that than what he felt on his back.

Shouta stared up at Hizashi. It was hard to see; the blood dripping into his eyes blurred his vision and forced him to blink painfully. His face was a pulsing mass of agony, but he made himself hold still and breathe slowly through a broken nose. The blood rolled down his cheeks like tears, dripping off his chin and staining his tuxedo.
Looking up into Hizashi’s blank face, there was no spark of recognition or remorse in his eyes as he pulled back his fist again. Shouta let himself go lax as the blow landed, moving with the force of it.

“Oh, I actually found some tea to help Aizawa with that,” Yagi said. Every head in the room turned to look at him. “It must have worked. Good.”
“All Might, do you know what you have done?” Nemuri asked. Yagi looked at her and looked like he was about to laugh at the look on her face. Then, he seemed to realize she was being serious in her question.
“Gave him tea,” Yagi began.
“No,” Hizashi said, and Yagi turned to look at him. “You weren't here the last time that Eraser got a full night of sleep. The last time that he was in a good mood like this, he expelled his entire class. We have to do something about this. We're activating Shotacol Seven. Right now.”

All he has to do now is spend a year at some shitty religious boarding school in England. If he can get through the year without any more mistakes, he might be allowed to go back to Zeff.
It's a shame that damn mossball in his sociology class has to go and ruin his plans.
