AngstAMAZING.
Deku has a quirk where people forget about him. Quite angst filled, and I think this fic is the exact reason why I love the genre so much. Capturing that ache that never really goes away, trailing from tragedy to tragedy, as the characters keep being re-introduced to the concept of hope, before it's promptly torn away again. Always so close, but so out of reach, in an intoxicating way that makes you just want to keep chasing it. You know it's only going to get worse, deep in your soul, but yet you keep going. Why? Maybe it's just force of habit. Because you are tied to the solemn duty of living despite the circumstances you're forced into. Because it's been drilled into your mind that it has to get better, at some point or another. It will all be worth it in the end
Remember to pace yourself, that ache builds up
