Canon divergence after episode 5 of X-Men 97Remy comes back on Genosha after his heroic sacrifice, but not quite the same as how he left. The X-Men will have to continue the fight against Bastion and Sinister, while at the same time unravel the mystery and traumas of their resident thief, hoping they can get him back to how he's supposed to be.

He’s stupidly in love with his Johnny; there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for him, including making a complete fool out of himself trying to fit into Soap’s family.
If only he could fit in. If only he knew how to act like a regular human being. If only he wasn’t a monster.
Maybe then, he could figure out a way to keep Soap.

Unfortunate?” Douma kneels down, his head tilts as he observes Enmu’s broken body. The careening of the upper rank's neck was owlish, his rainbow eyes their own source of light.
Now on the ground, Enmu does his best to assume a dogeza bow. Without legs, it was difficult, instead resting on the stump of his lower body. “I am unworthy to receive such a blessing.”
Douma outstretches his arm. Pulling back his sleeve, he rakes his lavender nails over his skin. Blood runs down to his wrist as he holds it over Enmu’s head. “Drink.”
