He took a step back to inspect his work and was left in shock at seeing “she” has the most beautiful hair he had seen. It might be an exaggeration or it just reflects how satisfied he is with his work, but Jean couldn’t describe why he finds it really beautiful. In fact, the hair is even wiry, uncombed, and slightly windswept. Nevertheless, he really liked these details that made it more real for him. And maybe perhaps, its beauty is in its realness, after all.
However, Jean was also quick to realize that those details are the only closest real thing that she could be. Being a little bit glum to such realization, he dejectedly brushed his fingers on her hair while hopelessly wishing for her to be real.

Of the six heroes Pieck is different. She wasn't a part of the 104th cadet core. She never knew Eren. Yet she's a part of this now.
Jean starts to notice the cracks in front she puts up. She's effected by having been a titan shifter, and it starts to worry him even as she says it's fine. She's always so tired.
As he gets to know the person behind the Cart Titan, Jean also finds that the dream he gave up to save the world might not be lost. It simply wasn't where he expected to find it.
Pieck centered story that focuses on how the group is adjusting and how she becomes an accepted member of their squad.
