wine catches his breath, inhaling actuality with gusto before he speaks, "i still don't know many things about love. i still don't know who i truly am. sometimes, i think i understand what it means. but often, i still don't. it's so confusing. i know i should be learning more about it. but now, maybe, i think i know how it feels..." he pauses, fluttering his eyes close briefly, only to sense faifa's hands creeping up on him, ghostly touches tormenting him for the rest of his life, relaxing on both sides of his face, cradling him tenderly.
"i think i know how it feels when i'm with you," wine confesses, and it's as close to madness as it can ever be.
between fleeting touches and unspoken confessions, their world tilts, pushing them toward the inevitable. wine has never been good with words, never understood love in its entirety—but maybe, just maybe, he understands it when he’s with faifa.

"Then just don't get on his bed. Ai Fai doesn't like that." Yotha brushes it off, thinking that maybe Fai's changed over the years.
Wine chuckles awkwardly at the words. Yotha squints at him suspiciously.
"Don't tell me you've been on his bed before?"
"...Khab."
Or, Faifa's issue with people in his bed and how Wine simply doesn't apply to it.

He looks so human, as they all do when staring straight at reality like this. Faifa could never understand it.

Wine froze, and his fists closed on instinct. He recognised that voice from his best dreams and worst nightmares. He turned to look at P’Faifa who was already looking at the other man, which sucked, because he desperately needed his steadying presence right now. He followed suit, hoping he was wrong, that he had misheard somehow, like it was one of those days before he started uni where he couldn’t get his thoughts together, and he could make it go away with a little bit of effort. But the universe clearly was not on his side.
“P’Tor,” he greeted. And at that, P’Fa’s attention was back on him.

'The biggest difference between his brothers had always been how they responded to conflict. Yotha, regardless of what his role in the incident might be, would match the veracity. Attack wildly. He’d fight fire with fire, fists with fists, and anger with anger. He’d always been that way, even when he and Faifa could barely walk. In contrast, Faifa only matched energy for someone else’s benefit. Otherwise, he absorbed it quietly. Eventually retreating to one of his ‘secret’ places. Places Newton once knew all the locations of, but now, likely couldn’t even find one of them.'

Faifa took a sharp breath. Wine knew that Faifa's departure as well as returning to his family in Thailand had never been his choice. His mom had announced she'd take him and his mom had announced he was going to be sent back.
"I'm sorry but shouldn't you have talked to P'Faifa about that?" Wine gulped, he had laid the words out in the open, no take backs now.

When Wine witnesses how nonchalantly Faifa's mother treats him at the dinner, he lets his emotions guide his voice. Will Faifa let Wine fight his battle for him or will Faifa fight for his voice to heard, on his own?
Or as I like to call it,
Wine calling out every single person in Faifa's life who have lots of shit to say about Faifa but couldn't bother to move a muscle to notice or care about him *holds up V-sign*
