Summary
Husk is a no-nonsense porn reviewer who despises Angel Dust’s movies, giving them scathing reviews on the website he works for, Rotten Cumatoes. When Angel is sent to trade his body for better reviews, Husk declines, more interested in teaching Angel how his movies could be improved. Sparks fly, leaving their lives irrevocably changed.

Summary

Summary
No longer able to endure Valentino's abuse, Angel seeks out the gambling overlord, Husk, and begs him to make a bet for his soul. Husk is hesitant to help, worried about the political fallout and public perception.
When Husk witnesses Valentino's cruelty firsthand, he realizes he can't just abandon Angel to his fate. He goes through with Angel's request, but a regular soul contract won’t do. Instead, he binds Angel's soul to him in demonic matrimony, convincing himself that a fake relationship will keep his reputation intact and be good for publicity.
Will their marriage remain a sham, or will their mutual attraction lead to something more? Can they help each other heal the wounds they've both borne for so long? And how will they face the enemies who are determined to separate them forever?

He dusted his nose and looked at himself in the mirror once again. He faked a smile to himself, Angel Dust was a persona he was used to by now. All he’s ever done since he was 14 was fake. After almost a century of faking, he’s fucking exhausted of it. He doesn’t even know when he’s being real and when he’s faking it. Maybe Husk was right… maybe he wasn’t being authentic. But after a century of faking, how do you even know who you are anymore?

Aziraphale’s face scrunches up with distaste. “We’re hardly Catholic, my dear.”

Summary
This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.
The au was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way.
I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :)
