    Post "The Search for Spock" story in which Saavik and David get a happy ending. After some more angst, because apparently I can't resist adding just a little angst.

    At least nominally a sequel to Moreta1848's "How hard can it be." You don't have to read that first to understand this fic, but you should read it because it's awesome. All you really need to know for this one is that Saavik is Sybok's daughter but ran away to live with her gay uncles (Spock and Kirk) because who wouldn't.

    Many thanks to Moreta1848 for ideas/encouragement/being basically all the letters of the Greek alphabet (but not in a sex way).

    Wanting to Do A Good Job, the food replicator produces soup frozen into a cube at such low temperatures the machine's base plate below cracks and shatters under the thermodynamic strain.

    It's okay, the replicator tells itself as it's Not In Service light comes on. Steve the Technician will be summoned soon to fix the damage.

    The replicator likes Steve. Steve always makes sure its parts are all in good-as-new shape, and has never once asked it to produce Soup, No Bowl
