Summary
Sure, Mariner's appetite has increased, but it's fine. It's nothing to worry about. And the replicators are down. And maybe her fellow crew members are starting to look and smell rather appetizing. But she's got everything under control and doesn't need any help with this.
This takes place some time around season 3.
Spiced up with some Mariner multiships and UST. Some ships take longer than others to show up. Work in progress. Although this is set in season 3, there may be some spoilers about Mariner's character based on knowledge from Season 4.
Featuring Pakleds, god-like aliens, space pirates, annoying diplomats, and more! The good news if you share a cool idea in the comments, I may feel moved to incorporate it into the story. The bad news is it may take 30 chapters to do so.
Comments encouraged!

[Meta] Does Garak actually sew? by Wadi Playtest Hall (ponchard)

Summary
Garak refers to his own work as sewing, and seamed clothing canonically exists in the 24th century. But do those seams really need to exist? How much does Garak do what we would think of as sewing?
Previously in this series, I explored a workflow for replicator-assisted tailoring. In that meta, I said people would probably delete seams from their replicator patterns. For this meta, I’ll be doing a deeper dive into the structure of seamless clothing, and how replicators make it (much) easier to create.

Summary
These damn Cardies, Miles had said. Put me through all those medical procedures when they’re planning to execute me anyway. Didn’t have the decency to just kill me.
Something in that conversation had stuck with Julian, and was stubbornly refusing to get unstuck. It was only that… well. That part of Miles’ report, with the chair and the samples and the holding his head still, had put him in mind of some difficult patients he’d had in the past. One thought led to another, and he’d started picturing a very particular difficult patient under those too-bright lights. Not in the chair, exactly, or maybe, if he could be wrestled into it?
None of this was anywhere near appropriate to voice aloud, which is why he was halfway through the question before he realised he’d opened his mouth.
“Do you think you could pull my tooth?”

Summary
Garak asks his friend to explain spanking. The results delight him.
Although, Bashir often wondered later, if this had been planned, for much longer. If the trap in which he had now become so hopelessly ensnared had been set months before. Slowly closing around him for longer than he knew. Perhaps the whole idea behind sharing book recommendations had been building to this. A long game, when Garak said, “Doctor, please, would you explain something to me?”
An appeal to intellectual vanity. And Bashir can’t resist that. Can he?
“Of course, Garak,” he says, “Anything for a friend.”

His hands on her, the way he looked at her. The light of the stars that seemed to shimmer as it glided in through the windows, bathing them in the incandescent light. It was all so… serene. Quiet. Just the two of them.
‘Now. If not now, when?’
And then, seemingly all at once, the entirety of engineering went to shit.AKA: It's very inconvenient to be fwb's on a starship that's prone to hijinks. Especially when you Run that starship. And Even More Especially if you're in love with the person you're running said starship with.

Summary
Part 6 of an ongoing Spyota/Spuhura romance. This fic gets fewer hits -- maybe some people think, "OMG, it's about Star Trek Into Darkness and that fight between Spock and Nyota", and worry they will get a sad story.
Not true.
The title is the clue -- this is about characters doing things they never believed they would do because of love, and that includes Spock and his baffling insistence on being left to die inside an active volcano. Expect the unexpected. In my usual fashion, this story will make random references to events in Parts 1-5, and so I recommend reading the series from the beginning.

Summary
"But as the character pounded on her, handsome and angled just the way she liked it, all she could do was lie there, her mind whirling with too much wine and disgust and bitterness over the fact that this was all she was ever going to get."
