Summary
Question time: What if Tim and the rest of his assassin friends *did* die when the Council of Spiders attacked? If Tim and his team were thrown into the Lazarus pit? What would become of Tim, and what would Tim become?
After two years in the League of Assassins, Tim leaves for... reasons, and ends up swinging back by Gotham to add just one more contingency plan. In doing so, he gets literally everyone's attention and now instead of enjoying his brief vacation, he's stuck dealing with Dick, Jason, whatever it is Ra's is trying to do, and everyone else slowly finding out that he isn't dead (and some people finding out that he died in the first place). Can't a guy get a break? (No he can't, sorry Tim!)

Summary

Now Dick Grayson stands in the aftermath, doing his best to hold everything together as his father sits in a coma.
Tim Drake watched Batman fall, now as he watches Dick Grayson take up the mantle, he knows he needs to help. He just doesn't know how.

Tim finds himself vaguely grateful for the solid back of the shelf, he was already gonna be one big bruise, the landing could have been worse.
Sounds of fighting erupt behind him, and he tilts his head back to get a look at the commotion. Batman is there, expertly taking down the goon before they can take advantage of Tim's stunned state. Tim gets a little thrill of excitement, seeing Batman fight, quickly replaced by dread.
Oh he was in trouble.
