Tim knew Kon would try his luck crawling in through his window later that night, so he waited.
“You!” Tim pointed an accusing finger at the figure stepping into his room.
“Me?” Kon replied, and the irritating, attractive, instigating man he calls his boyfriend had the audacity to raise an eyebrow.
“You!” Tim repeated. “You made everything worse!”
“How?”
“‘Sweetheart’?”
Kon bit back a laugh and Tim wanted to throttle him.
“It just slipped out,” he smiled.
“And the wink?”
“Oh, that was intentional.”

Kon's mouth dropped open comedically wide. He looked at the girls in shock and cried out, "I didn't make your hot-guy list?"
"Chillax, Super-Baby," Cassie chided as she laughed before wriggling her eyebrows and teasing, "You made the top ten."
"Top ten?" Kon reeled back in offense, "This 'Jim' dude makes top three and I make top ten?"
That would've felt more satisfying if Kon could be bothered with remembering his name. Not that he would know it was his name, of course. Ugh, not that any of this mattered.
"Tim," Cissie corrects and the same time Cassie insists once again, "Top four."
Kon is already making his way over to Bart and reaching for the phone, ordering, "Lemme see this guy."
Tim really did not have to be around to hear what Kon thought about the attractiveness of Tim Drake.

When his friends start debating the attractiveness of his civilian identity Tim thinks it'll be a quick conversation that gets dropped after a day or so. It probably would have been, too, if Superboy didn't end up meeting Tim Drake. Suddenly, all Kon wanted to do was talk about Tim. It's a shame he never talked about Robin with that same gleam of want in his eye.

“Shit,” he gasps. He can feel the beginnings of panic starting to claw at his lungs.
Tim has seventeen pills left in his stash. He usually needs to take two a day to stave off all omegan symptoms such as scent, fluctuating hormones, and of course, his heat. If Tim rations and takes one pill a day, he knows he’ll feel fatigued, like a cold coming on. If he stretches it to every other day, he could risk his scent returning. If he didn’t ration properly and he completely runs out of his supply, going cold turkey could be such a shock to his system it could kill him.
“Shit.”
