Summary
After the events at Saverne and the tangled web of lies spun by Jeanne of an illicit affair between Oscar and the Queen. Whispers surrounding the Queen's conduct begin to turn dangerous. To protect the Queen’s name and her own, Oscar is ordered to marry as a political solution and to reshape the narrative and preserve her standing. To her astonishment, the proposed suitor is someone she never imagined: André Grandier.
