She decides to take her civilian self out of the equation for a while, but a terrible sleep-deprived decision forces her to put things into motion way before she’s ready. Now she has to try and stick to her guns, despite the devastation she’s left in her wake…which for some reason seems to have hit Adrien and Chat Noir the hardest.

They were quiet for a few seconds before they both broke out in laughter. Maddie watched the two joyous figures with an increasing sense of dread. They acted just like teenagers, like children.

AHHHHH I LOVE DANNY PHANTOM. This was such an emotional rollercoaster, and so much crying that was well deserved.. I love reveal fics and this one set it up so nicely without defaulting to “danny’s parents evil”. I loved the way it explained their thought processes and showing they do love their son, even if they don’t show it as much as they should. <3
