Summary
Every connection in his life has ended like a burning trainwreck. Going down one by one, every relationship that has ever meant something to him gets destroyed by his own choices and is now taking pieces of himself down with it. Pretending is all Eddie knows how to do but when he can no longer control his emotions, they spew out of him leaving him with the loss of the last connection he thought he would never lose.

Summary
Frankly, Dean was beginning to go more then little bat shit, he needed someone, not to talk to, but just to be there so he didn't feel so alone. Being on the road for as long as he had was lonely work. But even in his darkest moments, when he felt like he couldn't possibly look at another living soul, there was always someone there to keep him off the deep end. And it was moments like that when you really knew yourself, when you realized wanting someone...needing them...was so damn heavy. (Set sometime after 8.13.)

Summary
“So we’re into dudes now?”
Eddie tries not to let the amusement show on his face as he watches this weird version of Buck size him up. It’s reminiscent of their first meeting. Buck had acted like a complete idiot (he’d thought it was because he was threatened, but years later Buck will now finally admit it was because he wanted to fuck Eddie so bad it made him stupid). He’s got that same bratty look and attitude now.
“We’ve always been into guys, you just haven’t realized it yet.” Buck (3.0? Or is it 4.0 now?) says. Eddie’s not sure what model they’ve upgraded to at this point, but that doesn’t matter. His Buck, current-Buck, husband-Buck is speaking.
“Are you gay?” 1.0—that’s what Eddie’s taken to calling him in his mind—asks, a disgruntled look on his face. He’s actually quite cute. Smaller and leaner than the Buck Eddie first met when he started at the 118, he kind of reminds Eddie of a puppy. “Because I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this,” he waggles his eyebrows obnoxiously. “I really like women.”
“Bi.” Buck (husband-Buck) corrects, he’s got his arms crossed over his chest, defensive.
