Summary
Deep beneath the waves, the Pacific Kingdom of the Merfolk has lived far away from humans for centuries. But rumors have reached the surface: rumors that say that, when a human eats a mermaid's heart, it grants immortality. When Archmage and Military General of the Pacific Kingdom, Satori Tendou, gets a bit too close to a Navy ship, he finds himself captured, with plans to feed his heart to the emperor.
But Captain Wakatoshi Ushijima and his notorious pirate crew have different plans. When they raid the Navy ship, they take Satori with them. Satori, claiming to be the prince of the Pacific Kingdom, offers them a massive payout if they can get him home. But with the Navy ship, the Pacific Kingdom's actual prince, and Satori's right hand all racing towards them to get Satori back, things were never going to be that easy.

Summary
"I am a shadow..."
Beginning this year, all heroics students will take a new, one day course called "Shadow Training" during their first year. With a few teachers for assistance, the class will descend into the shadow realm to confront their shadows. A shadow is the manifestation of all the parts of yourself you hide. By confronting these parts of themselves, students will eliminate any darkness within themselves that could lead them from the path of a true hero. Course taught by Judgement Hero Umbra (Himeyo Maki), but other teachers (including each class's homeroom teacher) will act as assistants and guides within the shadow realm itself while Umbra keeps watch outside.
This fic will be updated once per week on Tuesday. It's going to be long! It's a passion project made by several wonderful people. We hope you enjoy!

Fact 1: Liba is missing.

Fact 2: Alexis Payne cannot, by court order, own or use pokemon of any type or species.
Past incidents aren't always forgotten, even when you lost your temper as a stupid little kid. Alexis knows that fact well.
Fact 3: Nobody, not her parents, not Liba’s parents, not even the champion herself, is going to stop Alexis from saving her.
And if she has to work with some strange characters, work on her temper, fight her way through gyms, illegally capture a few pokemon (including a Buneary that hates her guts), and evade the authorities to do it? Than Sinnoh better get ready for an upset.

Through all of this Marc insists on being kind, and heroic, and just as timid as Nathaniel.
Meanwhile, Alix has just about had it with this pair of idiots.

Two: people heard what they wanted to hear. Believed what they wanted to believe.
They heard the name Sakamoto, and before Ryuji had so much as raised a hand to wave they expected a fist.
Three: his mother had always said, with her soft smile and her soft hands carding through his hair, that there were still good things. There’s always something good, Ryuji, you just have to find it.
The fourth thing came later. It was okay, then, for a while, that people heard his name and filled in the blanks. It was okay that they whispered and ran away at recess. It was okay that he wasn’t born to be a hero the way his dad was.
