Summary
Ponk wasn’t against having children. She wasn’t one of those childfree people who were definitive that they would never have kids. But she wasn’t one of those people who dreamed about being a parent and wanted nothing more than to start a family either. She was just in the middle of the spectrum. There were many pros and cons she weighed but neither appealed to her more strongly than the other.
She could easily be swayed in the future, and she was open about that fact. Someone or something could sway her one way or the other if they properly appealed to her, but so far she was just stuck in the middle. And she didn’t mind it.

Summary
Eret had always been disliked by the town full of zealots. She couldn't fight, couldn't hunt, and couldn't tend to animals or farm land either. She wasn't worth their resources or their time. She was the prime target for being chosen for the sacrificial rituals. She had hoped that worming her way into the Temple, the source of all religious practices in the town, would save her from the cruel fate. Unfortunately, she could not run from her fate for long.
Not without the help of a god.

Summary
Sam had always heard the term 'fiery personality'. But when a scientist buys him and wants to make this incredibly literal, he finds himself burning from the inside out. At the same time, he becomes friends with a mysterious lab-grown hybrid who’s never even seen the sky.
He wants to show this new friend the sky, almost as much as he wants to douse the fire in his blood.
But they’re hybrids, and humans were humans. And despite new laws, Sam has very little hope for a future of freedom.TLDR; Sam and Ponk's backstory in All That Glitters :)
