Aphelios has been irrationally pissy lately.
He doesn't know if it's the fact that he seems to be stumped in writing lyrics as of late, or that nothing he writes ever sounds right to him, or that he can never seem to be satisfied in his own craft. Maybe it's just that Kayn has been pissing him off with his usual remarks, but he has never been this agitated before. Maybe the noise in their dorm has been becoming so unbearable that he can't focus.
Maybe it's Sett and his stupidly big biceps that he loves to flex.
Aphelios can't help but think that he's doomed himself once he realizes his attraction towards his roommate, Sett.

It wasn't unusual, it happened at least two times a week, but something about how the dim lights danced across Aphelios' face provoked the overwhelming urge to kiss him. Aphelios' lips lightly pursed, eyes gently shut, hand tucked against his pillow, and the fact that he asked him to talk to him until he fell asleep — it all made Sett's heart race.

Sett palmed his face into his big hands and groaned, tugging at the ears of his hat and his actual ears under it in the process. It was so uncool to be this nervous and worked up over things he wasn't even sure would happen. He didn't even know if Aphelios was interested in more than friendship, which would be okay. Sett might be a little heartbroken but he could take a punch, even if it was to the heart.
