Genya doesn’t have any siblings left alive…or, at least, that’s what he tells people when prompted.
Afterall, it's much easier to admit that his entire family is dead than the fact that his older brother willingly left Genya to become a demon.
(Or: Genya tries to do what’s right even when his brother hovers over him with sickly sweet words and tempting offerings of eternity.)

Very inspired to adjust how I write Douma based on this :)Also the Yandere/Possessive Sanemi is just 🤌🤌🤌🤌

“If Genya is looking for a new sibling, I think I would be a much better choice," she says, pressing a finger to her cheek. “Though I must warn you, there are only women in my family.”

Genya has an unfamiliar feeling in his chest. It kind of feels like a swarm of butterflies stretching their wings in his stomach, which he used to feel around pretty girls like Mitsuri. Or like an aggressive blush spread across his face in embarrassment, as though his whole head is on fire.
To his displeasure, Genya’s brain is malfunctioning like he’s drunk and struggling to maintain his composure, his heart is thrashing like a gentle touch will rip right through him, and his emotions . . . well, he’s enraptured by her, an unexpected, all-consuming alchemy.
He would never feel this way for a demon. He especially would never feel this way for Tanjiro’s younger sister Nezuko—that’s somehow even worse.
Is he lying to himself? What’s wrong with him?

OR: What if Genya survived, Tanjiro never turned into a demon, and Nezuko and Genya became human again together?
