Summary
Patterns had been a part of Bobby's life for as long as he could remember.
Small spiral marks on his left shoulder, coloring similar to the bruises he got playing with other kids.
They weren't large or painful, and most kids at school thought they looked cool, so he didn't think about them. If he didn't want to answer questions about them, he wore a shirt with sleeves. It was that simple.
It wasn't until another kid made fun of his patterns - calling them "girly" for their coloration - and he felt them itch and grow under his gaze that his mother sat him down and told Bobby about his father.

Summary
—After the attack in Brooklyn, a few months pass before the Koopa Council arrives in the Mushroom Kingdom, with no plans to invade and requesting an immediate audience with Princess Peach.
The Mario brothers, not trusting their intentions, are present in the court and together a few steps from the cage where King Koopa was waiting.
Everyone in the room witnessed the fierce argument between Peach and Prince Ludwig I, but in the midst of all the tension, a high-pitched scream is heard and soon all eyes turn to the green plumber lying on the floor holding his right hand while Bowser exclaims with a terrifyingly triumphant smile —“I knew it! You're my destiny!’’— Mario, who had come to help his brother, looks at the tyrant with fury and before rushing to the cage, the main doors slam open.
—A pair of Toad guards are revealed scattered across the floor and the imposing figure of Donkey Kong, who with a smile points his finger at the red plumber to confess — “Baby! I'm here for you!”
An awkward silence fell in the room, no one knew where to start.

“I– I, uh, I have no idea – I mean, there was this demon, and– Are you girls okay?!” he stuttered, dropping his knife and shield in panic. He watched in shock as they shimmered brighter before disappearing before they ever hit the ground.
“Us? Bobby, are you okay?” Rumi asked, her own sword disappearing as she rushed forward to hug him. “Did it hurt you?”
“What? No! I was so scared it was going to hurt you guys, I didn’t know what to do, I just grabbed… Wait, you three don’t seem that surprised.” He glanced between them, taking a step backwards. Zoey’s face twisted like it always did when she was deep in thought, and Mira looked down at her slippers. It was quiet for a moment before Rumi gently touched his arm, getting his attention.
“Bobby, we should talk. Let’s go sit on the couch.”

Summary
Bobby's always known his girls were hunters, he's always known about the Honmoon, and he's always known about Gwi Ma and demons. He only found out about Rumi's patterns during the Idol Awards and Takedown.
And he would never judge her! After all, he has patterns too. But he'd never try to tell them. If they don't want to tell him that's fine, he won't pry! Their "secrets" were theirs and his are his. They don't need to know, they won't know. At least... that was the plan. He didn't plan for three demons to try and kidnap him for being Huntr/x's manager. And he wasn't ready to get caught by Rumi.
Rumi isn't ready for a side of Bobby that relates to her in a way none of the others can. It's scary how much she sees herself in him, and how much he reflects her on the night of the Idol Awards.

A few weeks ago, a demon had come and eaten her mother’s soul. Zoey had heard. She had heard the demon coming, dashing towards it, but came just in time to see a phone and a demon running away.
Rumi had her own problems. Mira did too. Bobby? He listened.
If Zoey told Mira about Dad, she would just go off on a rant about her parents.
Bobby wouldn’t.
Poor Dad.
Zoey could still remember those beer cans lying around when he visited.
Rumi and Mira fought all the time. Zoey faded into the background. Better to not let the focus be on her.

He laughed. "Anytime!" He ended the call, pocketing his phone before putting a foot on the demon's chest, his expression blank.
He equipped a pistol from his inventory, a surpressor attached. He aimed at the beaten demon.
"Tell Gwi-ma to go fuck himself."
TL;DR: Someone reincarnates as Bobby, has game mechanics, proceeds to live life normally until he meets Celine and HUNTR/X, and makes sure that he's there for them.
Demons are NOT ready for a manager who emotionally adopted three demon hunters (and an old one).
