Jane nods very seriously. She’s touched a lot of hot things, on purpose and on accident, in the past few months. The straightening iron is lying on the counter, angled so that the hot bits are hanging over the sink. Steve’s hands rest on her shoulders as he stands behind her. He is making eye contact with her in the mirror. She looks a lot shorter than him because she’s sitting on a stool that he dragged in from the kitchen.

Dustin happily gave them the tour, rambling on and on about capture the flag and oracles and centaurs and nymphs and a million other things neither Steve nor Robin could understand, but they just let him continue. The last step on the tour was the infirmary. “Your face looks like shit,” Dustin said.
“Gee, thanks.”
The infirmary tent was mostly quiet, one kid was laying in a cot snoring, fresh casts on both of his arms, Steve wondered what had happened there. In a corner was someone in a pair of black shorts and a decorated denim vest, long black hair tied into a ponytail.
“Hey, Eddie!” Dustin called.
The person in the vest, Eddie, presumably, nearly jumped out of his skin and turned around, “Gods, Henderson.” Steve took in the sight before him, combat boots with purple laces, tattoos littered on his arms and legs. Under his bright orange CAMP HALF-BLOOD t-shirt a bit of pale stomach poked out, marred with scar tissue, like he’d been attacked by a dog.
“Eddie, this is Steve and-“
“Robin.”
“Robin! They’re new, and Steve’s face is broken.”or;

"You're dead!" Steve blinks, rubs at his eyes, blinks again. That's it, he's officially lost it. He's seeing things. Maybe Vecna's back, or something, making him hallucinate, because why else would he be seeing a very much alive Eddie Munson right now? A very much alive Eddie Munson who's staring at him from where he's hunched under his desk, his hair everywhere and his eyes strangely liquid, yelling at him for breaking his records, of all things.
"Evidently not." Eddie says, gesturing a lazy hand over himself and trying a sharp-toothed smile but mostly just looking exhausted and scared.

He’s like a rat, he’lll scrounge for scraps of serotonin wherever his grubby little hands can get them. This morning, it just so happens to come in the form of trying to get a rise out of King Steve himself. And yeah, okay, Eddie will bite. The Wheelers seem to have the incoming drinks under control, so Eddie presses his palms into the countertop to lean over it a little and lick his lips as he nears Steve. They taste like salty sweat and sugar and goddamn he cannot wait to get home and shower.

Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.
Steve fails. They lose.
“Steve, how many loops have you been through?”
His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.
“I lost count.”

Summary
After a failed suicide attempt, years of bullying, and his mother's death, Izuku Midoriya doesn't think he has any option besides joining the League of Villains. After all, foster care is no place for a quirkless kid like him. Plus, working as a hacker and analyst for the League doesn't sound like it would be too bad. But, after meeting a hurt little girl in Overhaul's headquarters, Toga and Izuku can't just sit back and take orders from Shigaraki anymore. With some careful consideration, Izuku figures a villain reformation program at UA doesn't sound horrible, even if it means having to put up with Bakugou.

“Do you want to be a hero?”
Izuku blinks. Where did that question come from? It was so out of the blue that Izuku just feels confused now. “I can't,” he finally manages to say.
“Why not?”
Is Eraserhead stupid? Well, Izuku won’t actually ask him, but he’s tempted. It’s perfectly obvious why he can’t be a hero. “I’m deaf,” he points out.
“So is Present Mic.”
“I’m quirkless.”
“And?”
“What do you mean and? And nothing. Quirkless heroes don’t exist. Especially not deaf quirkless heroes,” Izuku says. He’s not sure why Aizawa isn’t understanding this.
Aizawa just sighs, shaking his head. Izuku thinks there must be some big thing he’s just not seeing for the underground hero to be reacting like this. “So be the first, problem child,” Aizawa finally says.(AKA: Bakugou's bullying goes a bit too far when Izuku is ten, so they move. He meets Hatsume, gets trained by Aizawa and Present Mic, and sets off to become the first ever quirkless hero)

Izuku looks down at his lap, his small fingers tracing over a bruise on his stomach. “Papa was angry cause I was too loud. So I cried and took a nap and now I'm awake here... Did Papa take me here?”
Shota exhales and decides that the truth might be too confusing for now. “Well, I'm going to take care of you until you feel better, okay? You're going to be staying with me for now. Your dad's gone. He won't hurt you anymore.”
Izuku looks up, eyes full of hope that dares not be called hope, something so shaky and hesitant but desperate nonetheless. “Really?”
And for once, Shota gives his student a smile. “I promise. Cross my heart.”

Summary
Izuku Midoriya was a competitive cheerleader up until an injury to his hand made tumbling and stunting an impossibility. It's devastating to think that cheer could be out of his life for good—until a pair of enthusiastic classmates show up at Izuku's dorm room with a signup sheet for a new hockey cheerleading club. All that's left to do is learn how exactly hockey works...and try not to think too much about the prodigious freshman right wing, who's just about the most wonderful person Izuku's ever met.
Shouto Todoroki has eaten, slept, and breathed hockey his whole life. He's got a legacy to live up to with his pro-hockey old man, and he's no stranger to the scrutiny and expectations of his coaches and teammates. It's different now that he plays for UA, though. He's got a former pro coach who sees potential in him and teammates who might actually like him as a person. Then there's the cheerleading captain, who's kind and compassionate in a way Shouto's never known—and who won't rest until Shouto stops dismissing hockey as nothing more than his old man's game.
