Summary
“Just-” Zoey stepped forward and brought her hands up to the edge of Rumi’s top, “can you let us take care of you for once?”
Zoey’s fingers brushed against Rumi’s stomach, making her heart skip a beat. What did Zoey mean by that?
As if to answer her question, Zoey’s fingers trailed to the zipper for Rumi’s top. She felt her cheeks heat up.
“You mean- the bath-?”
“I think it can fit all three of us,” Mira said as Rumi felt more purple strands come loose.
or, after the final battle, Rumi deserves a little TLC from her girls.

Summary
Mira and Zoey stared at her, unmoving, their weapons casting blue light across their faces. Rumi knew this was the moment she needed to run. While she didn’t want to believe either of them would attack her, if it came down to it, she wouldn’t be able to lift a finger against the two people she loved most in the world.
But what was the point? If she ran, where would she go? The whole world had been watching that stage. The person she’d been—both as Rumi, leader of HUNTR/X and Rumi, leader of the Hunters—was gone. Only the demon was left.
All at once, the crushing weight of exhaustion pressed down on her. She gasped out a sob as she fell to her knees, eyes fixed on the purple patterns winding their way around her arms and legs. Collapsing felt… right. Like this was where they had been heading all along.
She wasn’t going to run. She was too tired for that. It was time to meet fate head on.
“Do it,” she told them, her voice thrumming with that horrible, demonic timbre. “Kill me.”
or, what if Rumi hadn't run during that confrontation with Mira and Zoey?

She pulls her gaze to the end of the bed, where Charlie stands fastening a harness around her hips and seating a brand new toy into the ring at the front. She is like some kind of sultry sex goddess, framed by the glow of neon lights through fluttering curtains, her hair swirls with an unseen force long ripped from its ties by Vaggi’s hands.
“Enjoying the view?”
“Always.”
