The first thing Katsuki did— Was pause. Unfocused, dazed eyes blinking away instability and drowsiness. Brows knitting a long-familiar scowl whilst he took a look at his surroundings.
One second, he was walking back home from his fuck-ass school, from walking Izuku to his shitty ass apartment complex, and the other he's in a completely different area.
Okay. Maybe it wasn't just as simple as that. There was a sudden chase through between some nobody rookie heroes and what he assumed to be a petty criminal. But before he could even tense up for offense he was hit by their— stupidly blinding— quirk.
It was three seconds at best, but in that short moment it felt like his atoms were scattered across a void of nothingness and yet everything all at once. Split and burning and put back together with an almost cooling sensation left on his skin. Like a kintsugi.

Why?" he walks towards the prince almost threateningly. “What else are you hiding from me, Arthur?” he demands, his eyes growing colder.

I am in love with this series. I think about it everyday as I wait for an update. And I appreciate every bit of it
