Summary
It's the end of senior year and Dash and Danny are having the worst time of their lives.
Dash's father finds out he's queer and tries to kill him. That lands him in prison with divorce papers. Dash goes to therapy to cope and learn how to change his behaviors while taking some time off from school. He now needs to learn how to navigate the world and figure himself out.
Danny fears he'll never figure out what he wants for his future beyond being the hero of Amity Park forever and he's running out of time to figure it out as he watches everyone he knows move on without him. Plus there are always the people hunting him down that he has to worry about on top of that. -

As Nico says the words, Jason has that feeling again. The feeling that Jason has when something’s familiar, like he did when he first looked at Nico’s face.
“Nico, have you told me that before?”
Jason’s sure that no one’s told him that since he was found at the Grand Canyon. No one’s given him comforting words like this, not Piper, not Leo. Not anyone.
“Maybe.”
“I remember it,” Jason furrows his brows. He tries to think back when he first heard the words that Nico just said, where he heard the first call that became an echo. Jason rubs his eyes; a headache might be coming his way from trying to think that hard about things he can’t possibly remember. “Gods, I wish I could remember it.”
Nico nods, but he’s frowning.
“I wish you could too.”

Summary
It’s funny how sometimes you can look back and pinpoint the exact moments in your life that led you to where you are today.
A series of events, including a serious heart-to-heart with Dash’s hero Phantom, sets Dash on the path to start seeing other people in a whole new light, especially one Danny Fenton. What starts out as spending more time with Danny and his friends in an attempt to win Phantom’s attention and admiration instead leads to Dash’s feelings for Danny changing and growing. What’s more, Dash finds that he himself is changing and growing along with them. However sometimes old habits are hard to break, no matter how much Dash wants to do better.
Growing up is hard. Sometimes it involves taking two steps forward and one step back. But with old and new friends to support him, Dash may just be able to turn over a new leaf after all.
