“I’ll ask one more time: what are you putting on my sister’s locker?”
Shiro pales. “Keith!” he splutters out before he can help it. Because he was pretty sure this was Keith The Brother. Because Shiro has only heard that name in tandem with Romelle’s for the past two weeks and- “Uh, hi- I, uhhh-”
Shiro learns that Keith’s glare can sharpen even more. “You know my name?” Keith grits out, stepping forward, making Shiro step back. Shiro’s back hits the lockers and he helplessly stares as Keith crosses his arms across his chest and raises one perfect eyebrow. Shiro doesn’t mean to eye him up and down and back up again, but he does anyway, despite himself.
‘Sven, you traitor.’ Shiro thinks. ‘You could’ve warned me the brother was hot.’
In which Keith and Romelle are siblings, Shiro and Sven are cousins, and everything changes when Sven sees Romelle and falls head-over-heels in love.

Summary
He stumbled to the bed in the middle of the room. There lay a body that looked far too pale to be healthy. Shiro also took note that the body wasn’t moving. There was an absence of the chest rising and falling, the body wasn’t breathing. Eyelids closed, pale lips parted. Slowly, Shiro reached out for a hand and shivered when he made contact, but it wasn’t from the cold skin.
“K-Keith..” Shiro’s voice was hoarse, broken. Tears that he tried so hard to hold back finally spilled. He could feel his entire world crashing down on him. A world that he couldn’t find comfort in, a world without his love.

Lance is still smarting over everyone’s disinterest in Keith’s determination to become a homewrecking harlot when he heads to the company gym that evening—and immediately finds Keith. And Shiro. Sparring on the gross, sweaty mats by the far wall. Completely alone.
Keith’s on one side of the mats, leaning against the the wall and pushing his hair back with one hand; Shiro stands, frozen, his back facing Lance. “You’re gonna have to be faster than that to pin me,” Keith taunts. Except—it’s not a taunt, it’s an invitation.
And Lance takes it as one, too. “So you think you’re good enough to be beat me then.”
Keith just looks at him from under his bangs and says “yes.” Then he turns to grab his water bottle like he doesn’t think Lance can hold his own. Which, excuse him, Lance has a yellow belt.

Lance smirked at the screen. "Remember our bets, Pidge, Hunk." Allura cocked her head to the side. "You placed a bet? On what? On what character Keith would make?" Keith's eyes crinkled a bit in a sinister smirk. "Oh yeah? Alright then, let's see how well you did."
On their lengthy ride back to Earth, the defenders of the universe decide to play another round of Monsters & Mana, which goes...quite differently than last time, thanks to the addition of Keith.

“Please,” he begs, glancing up at Keith again, heart throbbing against his ribs. Bare bones are the only thing stopping him from throwing himself at the man he’s known forever. “Just tell me who you are.”
Keith looks up at the silver sky, at the worn jacket Shiro clenches close, at the shaky hands shoved into deep pockets to keep warm. “My name is Keith, and I know that doesn’t mean anything to you right now, but someday you’re going to be someone very important to me.” He sighs and tightens his grip on Shiro’s shoulder, leather soft beneath his fingertips. “You already are, and you’re the only reason I’m not lost right now.”
“I don’t understand,” Shiro tells him because he doesn’t know what else to say.
Keith only cocks his head and smiles. “I’m lost in time, Shiro. And… well, you’ve always been my guiding light, I guess.”

"October 23rd." Shiro suddenly says, not even flinching when Keith aims a kick at his leg. He falls silent after that and Keith swears that he's going to divorce the man the moment they get married, all because of this betrayal.
