Tommy was sent into exile at age 16 by his best friend Tubbo. Nobody ever bothered to visit, nobody ever cared to stop by. Those who said they loved him had betrayed him.
However, Dream was there for him. Dream cared, and Dream showed him the care he needed so desperately. A friend. Dream would be there for him for the next 5 years.
