Summary
James Sirius Potter was Hogwarts' Golden Boy. Oldest son of Harry Potter, Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Head Boy, and very popular amongst his peers - especially with the girls.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Holmes was an everyday Gryffindor girl, but her heart was hardened from her muggle parents, resulting in her proud, independent nature.
James seemed to have everything, a close and loving family, great friends, talent, and a never ending fleet of girls waiting... but James lived in the moment, not having any plans for future. The only thing he dreamed of having was a love like his parents.
Lizzie was used to handling things on her own, taking care of herself - only letting herself lean on her best friend. She was smart, talented, and she had a dream of working as a detective for the Investigations department in the Ministry of Magic. However, her heart longed for something else: a family.
James and Lizzie were once best friends, but as they got older they slowly drifted apart; but there was always more between them that neither of them could see. Timing was never right for them... until a party, one November night in the Gryffindor common room when their lives will change forever.
