The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

Summary
After a long, final battle between the Five Awakened Ancient Heroes and the Five Great Godly Beasts, who serve as the last obstacle between the forces of Earthbread and Dark Enchantress Cookie herself, Shadow Milk Cookie wakes up in the abandoned Blueberry Yogurt Academy, inhabiting the butterfly winged body of a faerie. Though he is powerless and disoriented, what is perhaps most devastating of all is that every lie he tries to tell gets twisted into the truth.
Pure Vanilla is to blame for this, having stolen the Beast's soul right out from under the guardian White Lily's nose during the final Battle of the Beasts. But nobody else knows what he's done. And as Shadow Milk comes to terms with reality, it becomes clear that the Hero of Truth has become quite the liar himself.
